Take one part Tony Soprano, two parts James Bond, and three parts Don Corleone. Mix well (shaken not stirred)and you have Ben Baron.

INTRODUCING BEN BARON - A genuine tough guy, and a solid super-hero. Heavyweight state wrestling champ, football star and valedictorian Ben Baron finds his true destiny as a purveyor of justice in DOUBLE DEALING. His journey through the underbelly of society changes Ben from a construction worker to his ultimate destiny as a Mafia Don.

Robert B. Bruno has written a novel that reads almost like a screenplay. Spare prose and crisp dialogue are expertly engaged, one scene at a time, to unfold parallel plots. Young Ben Baron´s direct approach to handling trouble propels the story at breakneck speed. Bruno employs several brilliant plot twists to engineer a stunning surprise ending.

The only complaint from readers is they lost a good night´s sleep once reaching the middle of the book.
