On the subtle level, America corresponds to the 5th chakra of the subtle system (Vishuddhi) and also to the Virata (the cosmic, primordial Being). It is no wonder that it is the melting pot of so many nationalities, races and cultures, beautifully combined to form the multicolored tapestry of our country. It is the center of collectivity, global communication and responsibility. That is why so many world organizations like the United Nations are based in this country, and also that is why American culture, from Hollywood to fastfoods, exists everywhere. However, America has the power to spread good ideas or bad ideas, spirituality or falsehood, purity or immorality, violent images or beautiful ones, through its
far-reaching media. It plays a role of great responsibility in the subtle body of our planet, as it is America's duty to spread the message of truth, benevolence and brotherly love to all nations. Above all, in a radio address to American listeners in California, 1983, Shri Mataji concludes her talk by saying that it is America's role to spread the ideal of freedom, not seen as abandonment to one's desires, but the true freedom where there are no enslavements or bad habits, just the complete freedom of our Spirit. It is Self Realization, the awakening of our Spirit and our connection to the all-pervading reality, that makes this true freedom possible, enabling us to experience the subtle, divine knowledge on our central nervous system.
Please get your self realization for free.

We are a group comprising of well-qualified professionals of upbeat single-again Indians mostly from the Bay Area (and as well as members from across the country), who have come together for friendship and company, for having fun and for support. Since it's inception last year, we have grown to over 55 members. Many of us are single parents (some who are just single-again), and the one thing that binds us is the common experience of our past marriage. We have been getting together for about a year and it has been a very enjoyable, rewarding and even life-transforming experience for all of us. The common experience of a past marriage binds us and makes us accept each other, but not dwell on the past.
