PREFACE

In June 1992 Reserve Bank had brought out a booklet setting out in a question-answer format, the investment and other facilities in India available to non-resident Indian nationals/persons of Indian origin and overseas corporate bodies predominantly owened by them. This revised edition contains updated information about the various facilities. Detailed formalities to be complied with may, however, be ascertained from any authorised dealer in foreign exchange in India.
