Media doing a good job trying to make Guru a hit

i mean read some of the internet articles. they are so funny. first they misquoted the box office in america 840,000 but it only made 770,000. and it just opened okay in U.K. but did well other places but those places hardly have any indians in them. keep in mind other films are going to come out too this year and chances are they are going to beat those guru numbers. one is even calling abjr a superstar. how can you be a superstar that can't open a picture in india???? mmmm let's not forget that guru did have abjr in the lead but keep in mind people also went to go see it b/c of mani rathnam and aish rai. even if you put another actor people will still go see the film b/c of mani rathnam. why did people go see roja and bombay. b/c of arvind swamy????? also even though critics not admitting but that engagement publicity stunt actually worked in their favor. but seriously they are making guru like it is one of the biggest hits ever. please. now watch next week when salaam e ishq comes out. bet on this that that film will cross the million mark over the weekend. and do awesome in england too. top it off it is going to open awesome in india something guru has not done.

but since bachanas have a lot of media loyalists they will say what they want right now. wait and week and we will see a clear picture. let's not forget a film called risk is coming out too this week. that could put a dent on guru.

and as for the so called awards the year has just begun and let's not forget akshay khanans is coming out in a film called gandhi my father which is getting awesome pre-buzz.

so critics hold your horses the year has just begun. don't be surprise if akshaye does even a better job than abjr.
