“Dosti” (1964), Rajashree Pictures’s second film named. Actually none of the music directors of that time were willing to give the music for this film. They feel there is nothing in the film, no star cast, to compose the music. But Laxmikant-Pyarelal took up the challenge and “Dosti” became a history in the film industry. It has given a fame to Rajashree Films as well as the music of “Dosti” kept LP in top position in the Hindi Film Music. This position of Laxmi-Pyare remain unaffected and continued till 35 more years. The LP era had now begun even when other older and established music directors of the golden era were still very much active. “Dosti” film music gave LP their first ever Filmfare Award.

Rajashree Films and Laxmikant-Pyarelal than were associated for the following films and all the films have extremely melodious music.

Taqdeer (1967):- Yet another non star cast film with hit music. Who can forget the songs

Jeevan Mrityu(1969):- All time favorite of Dharmendra. Film actress Rakhi was introduced to the film industries.

-- Zil Mil Sitaron Ka Angan Hoga Rim Zim Barasta Sawan Hoga... Lata-Rafi (all time hit song) -- Zamane Main Ajee Aise Naadan Hote Hai… Lata ( gazal song)

Uphaar (1970). This outstanding movie will always remember for spellbound performance by debutant Jaya Bhaduri ( officially it was Jaya Bhaduri’s first picture, but Guddi released first) and the melodious music by Laxmikant-Pyarelal.

Piya Ka Ghar (1972). Jaya Bhaduri-Anil Dhavan movie was hit one and once again LP never disappointed Rajashree Films and gave yet another melodious musical movie.

Laxmikant-Pyarelal never disappointed Rajashree Pictures. The songs of the above films are still popular.
