Andhra pradesh was hit by a devastating cyclone which has taken over 1000 lives,and rendered a few lakhs of people homeless.The India Development Relief Fund (IDRF) is making contact with many organizations involved in the rehabilitation work.
IDRF, a tax-exempt US organization established over twenty years ago, is able to remit all funds it receives to India as it is administered by volunteers without any honorarium or overhead. Volunteers even meet out-of-pocket expenses so that 100% of the funds can be sent to non-governmental organizations in India. As a part of our responsibility, being away from our Motherland, we should donate generously to this cause; IDRF will vouch for the judicious utilization of each penny.
In the event of Latur Earthquake, IDRF responded immediately and made an appeal. IDRF recalls your active support for Latur Earthquake disaster relief, and IDRF was the largest contributor from abroad for that effort.
