Transparent Pain

by: Brynn Clark (jaclark@sprynet.com)

I see the sadness in your eyes. I hear the fear in your lonely cries. When I feel your shivering touch, Your coldness makes my body rush. Your repeating lie of happiness Does not fool my mind. I see right through your unthruthfulness, And I know that you want to die. Your constant state of depression Scares me so greatly, But you'll never know how much I care Because for some reason you don't see me. I'm constantly pushed away. Never told to come back. Never told to stay. When will you see you're hurting yourself, By not letting me remain? I only want to be part of your life, And soothe your hurt and pain.
