| Blind But I Can See |
Even if I am blind Life's sweet joys i can still find And can experience them with my mind, Even if God hasn't gifted me with those two beautiful lamps, I can still walk firmly on Life's long ramp. I can feel with my fingertips, hear with my ears, I can hear laughs and cries and sweet melodious cheers. I can hear the bird's chirp day and night maybe they're consoling me on my pitiful plight, In the early morning I hear the jingle on temple bells Which start my day after the night's unbearable hell. I feel the rain drops falling on my face, and I try to run along with them As if I am running the longest race. I can hear the croaking of frogs, Barking of the dogs The chill of those cold fogs. Even if I am blind, Life's sweet joys I can still find.
