| Land of Friendship |
Hopping into bed, holding my teddy bear tight, I hope that my dreams will come true tonight. I will soar the skies and find a love so true, I will be happy, and have a friend like you. Closing my eyes, I go off to Dream Land, Then I see you reaching to me with an open hand. You take me to a place of love, faith and desire, Through the gleaming gates of gold and fire. This is where all of those dreams become real, Where a broken heart takes only a moment to heal. Everyone has found a love that will never part, And a simple word can touch the heart. You look and me and flash a terrific smile, I know that I want to stay here for a while. This temporary Heaven for those in need, A place to help rescue those like me. Then I realize we both have smiles on our faces, It is as if we always end up in the right places. We are just drifting through this place of devotion, Where caring is the only real emotion.
