too late to be dad

by: Justin Henderson (HiTechRNeck@yahoo.com)

"too late to be dad" i came into this life without you grew up without a father Mom had lots of other guys, But the where just as untaught as me As i saw my mother sadness Cursing you to hell I never blamed you I knew that you where young And now you're back Trying to be my dad Eighteen years later in life But my soul taught itself And now you want to remold? It's too late for you know My cast is far too set Hardened like stone through time You're angered at this reality? Blame me for my unwillingness? I've made myself the way i am And am proud of my work It may not fit the bill for you But like i said, i don't blame you But just wish you would realize It's too late to be dad
