Are you alone? lost in your thoughts of you and I together your hazel-green eyes wandering slowly caressing my face watching your amethyst chain dangling from my bare neck my slender legs stretched out on the bottom bunk bed my elbows propping my head up watching you, watching me Do you know what I'm thinking? when I lay my head on your shoulder rubbing the coffee colored curls on your chest a deliberate sigh escapes my crimson lips and I wait for your reaction your fingertips stroke my arm you know what I want to hear you know you're wrong remaining silent you don't have to notice my tear filled eyes hear the broken sobs when I'm alone in my own bed even there you haunt me Do you want to play a game? I know you're in the mood you always are we can play house I'll be the mommy, you be the daddy it's just a game nothing to lose I wipe my eyes and weave my fingers through yours Look, we're tied in a knot I can't get out but you're stronger you'll make it
