Trapped; enslaved; and I sniggered Captive, under the web, it figured Exhilarated with the beauty of sport Oblivious, that I was in the same court! Swerved and squirmed but all in vain I relished, while it moaned in pain Imprisoned, confined, under my will Ignorant and unaware of my desire to kill The woods echoed my laughter around Lost in insolence, I failed to perceive a distinct sound Amidst the dense, it advanced in brisk motion Of its approach, I had not the briefest notion Enormously gigantic, a massive beast, Brutally barbaric, ten times the normal at least I froze at sight, unable to hold ground The wild with them seemed to abound At first solitary, now a score Right there emerged many more, Down on my knees, I begged to be reprieved Worthy of pardon, I begged to be believed A cry that reached the distant land A cry that sought a helping hand A word affirmed, a word to keep "As you sow, so shall you reap!"
