| Somebody Tell Me. |
Where are we? Where is the edge? If we are at the edge, What is over the edge? Is man doomed to die? Or will he prosper? Is the environment safe? Will the balance remain balanced? Or will the fate of the dodo, Be the fate of all else? Will it be war? Or will it be peace? What is the question? Yes I am at the edge. But what is over that, I cannot see. We shall fall, that I know. But to what depth, is a mystery. Will we ever rise again like the phoenix? Or shall we remain plunged in darkness forever? I do not know. But should I know? Do I know? Maybe it is fate. Maybe, maybe not. Or are we at the bottom and climbing to the top? In that case, after the top, then what? After climbing the peak, do we fall? Over the edge, mankind, nature and all. I do not know. I am confused. Someone help me, tell me, Guide me, show me the way. Tell me where I am, what I am doing, What I should be doing.
