| The Game Called Love. |
So say some people, Love is a game. Some we lose and some we gain. It brings us tears of both joy and pain; Some we lose and some we gain But ask I did, 'Isn't it insane; To play to be victorious at the cost of pain?'. I shall play not this fatuous game, Where some you lose and some you gain. Little did I know, Little was I spared. Wished to abstain; Ended up playing instead. You ask me now what i lost and gained. Oh! I've so much to say; But I am refrained; Cause, ecstasy, they say is hard to be explained. I have lost my soul's unchallenged calm, Melodies no longer soothe me nor does a psalm. All my thoughts always lead to you; I dream of you in every hue. What i have gained is obvious without a clue; I found your love, so pure, so true Whatever be the consequences, come what may; Hopes are the foundation of life, they say. I am waiting and I am here; Till the stormy seas rest, Till the dark clouds clear. Time we may lose, before we get near; But pray keep the faith, till we are together, My Dear. A message to my love: Thank you for loving me like you do.
