Ever since I was born
I was laughing and crying
in your arms.

You told me how to walk
by holding your finger, 
and
you were always there to
pick me up when ever I fell.

You told me how to give,
You told me how to love,
and
Every time I was sad,
You made me smile like a rose.

You always showed me how to
Walk with God, 
and 
there was not a time when I
didn't see God in you.

As I came through my life 
you showed me how to respect;
you told me what was right, 
and 
what was wrong.

Although I did things which 
you didn't like, you still
Forgave me and loved me still.

I thank God 
for a father like you,
Who loves me for the way I am.

I promise to do the right thing
Even though it becomes very hard
But you can count on me as long as
I am!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
