Night

Night falls and the demons return
Silent as ever, quiet as death

Night falls and the memories return
Like an opened wound after a deep cut

Night falls and the thoughts previal
Like a silver blanket that the moon has spread

Night falls and I think of you again
Like a distant thunder I hear in the hills

Night falls and the tears return
As I miss you beside me in my lonely bed

Night falls and I wish I were dead
For that's what I'd rather be then be without you

Night falls and I dream once again
To never wake up and face the pain

Night falls as I fall into slumber
Lonely with hunger that will never know it's end
