Blank Pages

I sit and stare at the page before me
Trying to create for you
The words do not come, they avoid me
I think of the many good times we have
And the many lovely nights we share
But to put them down on paper seems
Not enough to me
For you mean more than words
Your much more than I can describe
So for now I have empty pages
That can not hold how I feel inside
Accept these as a token
Of what there is to come
For blank pages are not full
And leave room for so much more
