Search Is Over

I left home looking for you....
In the misty vague of valleys.
Earth extending into pointy pinnacles
Caressing clouds diffusing down slowly ......
Resting gently on earth's laps.
In the glow of sunrise yellows
The shallow stillness of springs
Sparkled gold in the sylvan scenes
Till dusk spanned the seamless skies.
The search seemed endless.

I changed course........
Bringing myself into the bustling beaches.
Boats afloat the buoyant blues
Layered with bubbly milk shining white
As if million pearls had risen from beneath.
Little lovables picking the pebbles
Heaven staring down at sunbathed sands
Adorned with shell necklaces.
Salty splashes soured my shoeless soles
I was a sole soul still restless.

I trotted towads temples.....
Magical bells were singing praises of the gods.
Feathered flocks flew in symmetrical shapes
Circling the sculptured towers in Pradakshina (Holy circle)
Flowers dropping petals on the deities as Naivedya (Offerings)
Weaving themselves into colorful web of Mala (Garland)
Rustling against His warmth chanting the silent Mantra (Holy chant)
His endless gifts overflowed my Anjali ( Palms )
Still I returned home enamoured with emptiness
To find you right there in my heart living forever.
