Above the campus I look down
        To the place from which I sprang.
        Lights shinning,darkness hiding
        Existing together
        Making a world.
        
        How like me, or I like it.
        I shine.
        I hide.
        Surprised by when.
        
        I can no longer retreat into the bliss of ignorance and surety.
        Mystery, enigma,
        Paradox and ambiguity
        All entered my soul here.
        And now, I cannot not know
        What I now know---
        Not for my own sake or my love for others.
        
        And so I continue to open doors that cannot be shut...
        Not from curiosity,
        But from lifeforce.
        To go on is to suffer.
        To stop is to die.
        Some choice!
