Resuming the puzzle playing

You can resume a puzzle that you had previously saved on your computer. (See saving a puzzle)

You will need to be online to resume the puzzle and the saved puzzle will be available for resuming only for a limited period of time at this site (roughly about 2 weeks).
 

Resume Instructions

1. Start your web browser and in the File menu of your web browser, click on Open (or Open page...) command. You will get a dialog box on which there should be a Choose File or Browse button. Click on it. In some browsers, you may get a file open dialog box directly without the Choose File or Browse button. If so, skip to the next step.
2. A file open dialog box will come up. Use this file dialog box to go to the folder on your computer where you had saved the crossword and select the file that you had saved to open.
   Shortcut: In most computers, you will be able to open the file that you had saved by simply double-clicking on the saved file OR dragging and dropping the saved file on your web browser window. Your particular system mat not allow this, however.
3. The page with the resume button that you had saved will come up. Click on the Resume button and the interactive crossword will come up with the letters you had already entered.
4. You may subsequently save it again as before.

Note: Any marks indicating the squares that you had checked/revealed will not be saved across sessions. This is normal.
