These savoury pancakes can replace regular chapati/roti/paratha and go very well with Indian dishes. Ingredients:
Method:1. Mix the flours and salt. 2. Add olive oil. 3. While whisking the above mixture, add the boiling water until the batter comes to a consistency little runnier than pancakes. (The more watery the batter the thinner the pancakes.) 4. Over medium heat, place a non-stick chapati pan. [Only for the first pancake, place 3-4 drops of oil before putting the batter.] 5. Add 1/2 cup of the batter and spread even with a spatula. 6. Turn when the pancake batter looks dry. 7. Cook until the other side browns. 8. These pancakes refrigerate very well for upto a week. AND because the flax seeds are rich in Omega-3 oil these are beneficial for the health of your heart. |
