Lauki Ke Kheer

Hi I am Jharna from Chandkheda,Ahmedabad to share you a sweet dish made from Lauki.

Ingredients:

  • Lauki   -   500gm
  • milk   -   1litre
  • deshi ghee   -   4tsp
  • sugar   -   200gm
  • bay leaf   -   4no.s
  • small elaichi   -   few
  • chopped cashew   -   1/4th cup
  • raisin   -   1/4thcup
  • rice flour   -   2tsp

Method:

1.At first peel and then grated the lauki.Now removes water from it.2.Boil the milk untill it turns half.3.Heat a pan and add ghee.4.Now add tej patta and elaichi.5.Add the grated lauki and fry it untill its changes its colour.6.Now add sugar and when its melted then add milk.7.Add the rice flour which is dissloved in water.8.Cook it for 2 minutes.9.Lastly add chopped cashew and raisin.10.Serve hot or cold.
