Healthy N Easy Fig Bars

Ingredients:

  • Dry Figs   -   250 gms
  • Cashew or your favourite nuts   -   1 cup
  • Sugar   -   1/4 cup
  • Butter   -   1 tbsp.
  • Boiling water   -   1 cup
  • Method:

    1) Soak the figs in the boiling water for 15 minutes. Puree in a blender. 2) Coarsely chop the nuts in a blender or food processor. 3) Place a thick bottomed pan at medium heat on the stove. 4) Melt the butter and add the fig puree, the chopped nuts and sugar. 5) Stir the mixture until forms into a ball and the butter separates from the pan. 6) Press the finished mixture on a cookie sheet and cut into squares. 7) No need to refrigerate. Enjoy!
