yoghurt rice(curd rice)

this is south indian dish,specially for festivals.specially it is good for health.

Ingredients:

  • rice   -   2 cups
  • water   -   3cups( with same cup)
  • salt   -   2˝tsp
  • ginger(grated)   -   1tsp
  • seasoning   -   mustards˝tsp,
  • green chillies   -   2-chopped
  • curry leaves-1twig   -  
  • coriander leaves   -   ˝cup
  • curd   -   5cups
  • Method:

    cook the rice perfectly with 1tsp salt. take a wide bowl and place the cooled rice and add 4cups of curd. fry green chopped chillies,pepper in little oil,add to the curd rice. seasoning with above (given) ingredients and add immedietly to the rice. now mix the remaining curd stir it well. decorate with coriander leaves and ˝tsp cummin powder like a circle over rice.
