Masala cauliflower

Ingredients:

  • Cauliflower floweres   -   4 cups
  • Potato, peeled and cubed   -   1 cup
  • Onion, grated   -   1/2 cup
  • Tomato, chopped   -   1/2 cup
  • Cumin seeds   -   1 tsp
  • Chopped Green chillies   -   4
  • Turmeric powder   -   1/2 tsp
  • Ginger, garlic paste   -   2 tbsp
  • Red Chilli powder   -   1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder (Dhania powder)   -   1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder   -   1/2 tsp
  • Salt or to taste   -   1 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander leaves, chopped fine   -   For garnishing

Method:

Roast cumin seeds till they pop. Add onion and green chillies. Stir on low flame till light brown. Add cauliflower, potato and 1/2 cup water, Cover and boil for 5 minutes or till tender. Add rest of the ingredients and let cook for a minute or two. Garnish with coriander leaves.
