Tofu Masala

Ingredients:

  • zeera   -   1/2 tsp
  • onion   -   1 1/2
  • plum tomatoes   -   2
  • tofu   -   1 square
  • green pepper   -   1/2
  • green chillies   -   3 - 4
  • cillantro   -  
  • Method:

    Heat 2-3 tbsps oil in a pan, add zeera and brown lightly, add finely chopped onions, fry till light brown, add chopped tomatoes, and ground green chilli, and fry, add salt and a little water and cook till tomatoes and onions are done, add tofu mashed with a fork, and mix thoroughly, then add finely chopped green pepper and cook till fairly dry, garnish with cilantro, serve with chappatis or rice
