Potato Cabbage subzi

this dish can be prepared in a jiffy...

Ingredients:

  • cabbage- chopped finely   -   2 cups
  • potato   -   2 med. size
  • green chillies   -   5 - slit
  • onion - chopped finely   -   1 big
  • cumin seeds   -   1/2 teaspn
  • coriander powder   -   1/2 teaspn
  • turmeric powder   -   1/2 teaspn
  • salt to taste   -  
  • cooking oil   -   1 teaspn
  • Method:

    warm oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and after a mnt, add the onion. when the onion gets transparent, add turmeric, coriander powder, green chillies and salt.Stir for a mnt. Add veggies, and stir again. Cover the lid and let it cook on slow fire for 12 mnts. cook till dry (cabbage gives out water) can be had with dal-rice or bread
