stuffed potatoes

Ingredients:

  • potatoes-simalar in size   -   ½kg
  • coconut fresh   -   grated 1cup
  • dry coriander powder   -   1tsp-roasted
  • chilli powder   -   1tsp
  • garam masala   -   1tsp
  • fresh coriander   -   finely chopped
  • salt   -   3tsp
  • groundnuts   -   2tsp(roasted and peeled)
  • seasom seeds   -   1tsp
  • turmeric   -   1tsp
  • oil   -   5tbsp
  • greenchillies   -   4 or according to taste
  • ginger   -   1inch to paste
  • Method:

    cook potatoes partly, remove peel. make a mixture with dhania, groundnuts, haldi, salt, seasom, ginger, coconut (grated)masala, chilli powder. slit each potato and stuff with this mixture. take one big wide pan and set all potatoes carefully and fry them on medium heat. stir them occassionally. let potatoes stay until you feel them softer. remove from the heat and arrange them on a wide plate decorate them with fresh chopped coriander( diagonally).
