Sweet Corn Chicken Soup

Ingredients:

  • Creamed corn   -   1 can
  • Chopped chichen   -   1 cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste   -   1/2 tsp
  • Water   -   4 cups
  • Green onions, chopped   -   1 bunch
  • Corn starch dissolved in 1/4 cup cold water   -   1 tsp.
  • Pepper   -   1/2 tsp.
  • Vinegar   -   1/2 tsp.
  • Green chillies chopped   -   1/4 tsp.
  • Egg beaten   -   1
  • Salt   -   According to taste

Method:

In a sauce pan bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat and add the chicken, ginger garlic, green onions and salt. After cooking for 5 mins add the corn and the pepper. Cook for 10 mins. Add the rest of the ingredients except the egg. Cook for 5 mins more and at the end add the egg through a strainer , stirring the soup continously. Garnish with a few drops of soya sauce.
