Ingredients:
- Green peas - 1 1/3 cup
- Water - 1 1/4 cup
- Vegetable stock or broth - 2 1/2 cup
- Salt - Accoding to your taste
- Freshly ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Light cream - Accoding to your taste
Method:
Place the peas and water in a saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for about 15 minutes until tender. Remove from the heat, mash the peas well into the liquid and sieve into another saucepan.
Place the pan over a moderate heat and add the boil and then remov from the heat. Serve boiling hot with 1 tablespoon cream added to each serving.
