Vegetarian Sabji (one variety)

Method:

First, cut cabbage into big pieces.  (You can use your hand to do this, too!)   Heat oil in a pan. When oil is hot, add onion and cabbage and saute it for a few minutes.  Add Beans, Bell Peppers, Potatoes and Carrots.  After frying for a few minutes, add the water and tomatoes.  As the mixture boils, add the chilli powder and salt.  After the entire mixture has boiled and the vegetables become tender, turn off the heat.  In a separate pan, add coriander seeds and cumin seeds.  Fry the spices dry first and then powder (dry) it.  Add the powder to the boiled mixed vegetables.  Your Vegetable Sabji is now ready!  The great aspect of this dish is that you can make your own variations.  Good luck and happy cooking.
