Air India Packages Offer Stopover Option in New Delhi Email this page

New Stopover Packages offered by Air India provide travelers a convenient break between flights in New Delhi. According to a press release issued by Air India, the new program is available to passengers from New York, Newark and Chicago who are traveling via Delhi to other destinations. The packages are also available to passengers returning to the United States via Delhi.
The basic one-night package includes accommodation at a choice of a 3-Star, 4-Star, or 5-Star hotel in or around the Delhi airport area; breakfast and hotel taxes; and a transfer from Delhi Airport Terminal 3 to the hotel. Room upgrade and airport return transfer options are available, the release said.

Extended stay rates, as well as optional full- or half-day city sightseeing tours, rental cars and a day trip to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal are also available for travelers wishing to spend another day or more in Delhi. The program also offers day rooms for passengers with several hours between flights who would like to leave the terminal just to rest and freshen up.
