Bangalore: Indian youth have developed a sturdy connection with the west, for the western clothing. As per a new survey on the adolescent behavior, they analyzed the how’s and why’s for the need and desires to pick western wear. In the survey conducted by Edumedia it shows that 72 percent of the Indian youths say a big yes to western clothing as against the Indian wear. While one would assume peer pressure to top the list of reasons, the result throws one in surprise as it is apparently how they look in it, which makes one opt to be seen in western wear. As per the survey 38 percent of the children prefer it for the obvious reason that it suits them and they look good in western wear. 34 percent of boys and girls went with another notion to dress in western attire because it’s cool. Unbelievably just four percent of them wore western wear because their friends did. It’s clear that children have developed their own sense of choice when it comes to clothing and are not just following the crowd. The rest 2 percent wear western wear just because the celebrities wear them. This may be a point of concern but as it’s not practiced by the masses it might completely fade away. As compared to the world scene Indian teenagers are way too oblivion to most fashion trends and are not so carried away by its impact. The extents of involvement of teenagers in America and Europe have made them smug, judgmental and in some case a social victim of the fashionably unaccepted. Their appearance, their clothing, there style, ride everything is a major part of their image and personality and go to great length to prove they are a part of the happening crowd. The India women have become tied to the western wear, not only in cities even in town too.
