Washington: An anti-Obama documentary, directed by an Indian-American filmmaker, that became one of the most successful documentaries of all time has now been made available online and on DVDs.
The documentary - 2016: Obama's America - directed by Dinesh D''Souza, a former staffer of President Ronald Reagan, had entered the top 10 at domestic box office early last month.

The an hour-and-a-half-long documentary portrays a gloomy future if Barack Obama is re-elected.

"We've heard from many people who want to watch the film and don't have a theater close by," D'Souza in a statement. "Now all Americans can watch the movie and make their minds up for themselves," he said.

The documentary is based on D'Souza's bestselling books Obama's America and The Roots of Obama's Rage and was produced by Academy Award winning Gerald R Molen.

The documentary which has grossed over $ 33 million at the US box office is now available for online purchase from today and released on DVD on October 16.

The documentary has earned widespread praise from the Republicans, while drawing the ire of the Obama campaign.
