Kolkata, Nov. 10 (NNN): Two legendary all-rounders of the subcontinent, Kapil Nikhaj Dev and Imran Khan would be among the Indian and Pakistani captains to be felicitated during the November 13 one-dayer between the archrivals at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata to celebrate the Indian Board of Control for Cricket India (BCC)) platinum jubilee.
Both Kapil and Imran sent in their confirmation on Wednesday to the BCCI and would now join a galaxy of former skippers of India and Pakistan to be feted during the 15-20 minute dinner break function.

BCCI Platinum Jubilee Celebration Committee Chairman Jagmohan Dalmiya told newspersons that Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar - current Indian team members who have had led the team - would also be felicitated on November 13.

The organising committee, which met during the day, also decided to fete former West Indies skipper Clive Lloyd, who would be present in his capacity as match referee.

Meanwhile, the committee has invited top board officials of all Test playing nations for the match, and so far received confirmation from the chiefs of Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe and Pakistan boards, Dalmiya added.

It is leant that about 100 distinguished guests from Pakistan are scheduled to be present on the occasion.

For the actual game, meanwhile, Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly's fitness test will ahead of the November 13 one-day match against Pakistan.

According to a BCCI source has confirmed that it will not be held before November 11 as the cricketer will be on the field on the final day of the Ranji Trophy match against Karnataka today.

And the Indian team physio Andrew Leipus is likely to come on Thursday. Dalmiya, on the other hand, said, "Indian coach John Wright and Leipus will most probably reach here on Thursday with the players from Mumbai."

Ganguly was earlier scheduled to take the test today under the watchful eyes of Leipus. He is recovering from a groin strain which forced him to sit out the last two Tests in Nagpur and Mumbai against Australia.

However, in a surprising development, Ganguly decided to turn out for Bengal in the ongoing Ranji outing against Karnataka, which concludes today. "How can there be a fitness test when he is playing a match? It can be conducted only after the match is over," the BCCI source said.

Ganguly has seemed in better shape during the match, but his form continues to be a worrying factor. The southpaw got out for a dismal score of five in Bengal's second innings on Tuesday, after having managed 27 in the first innings.
