| Display of smartness and wealth | | Is part of human nature- | | From the dawn of civilization,
We seem to see such caricature!
Gadgets and gizmos, bells and whistles
Add simplicity and reliability for sure-
But additional costs routinely seduce
Consumers’ pocket book to endure!
Level of frustration goes up in sales
With addition of features-
And people tend to show off
As the most genius creatures!
Ignorance as a bliss is well known,
But we’re trapped in economic dunes-
So “more is better” prevails our minds
To ignore the cost-cutting tunes!
Such vexations, repeated around nations,
Overcast minds looking for a change-
And fuel our irritations unwittingly,
From a wide variety or range!
Insistence reinforces reliable networks
To eliminate frustration and grief-
While constructors work behind scenes
With an explanation too brief!
Perceptions are born to dominate us
With a mythology of ignorance knot-
And steer flow with dictator’s vision
Until the ideas are caught!
So, cranky technology is here to stay
To teach us: “Plug and Bray”-
Regardless of brightness or ignorance,
Our minds will be in disarray!! |
