| Aspiration and desperation of true love | | Used to flock my adolescent heart- | | Until you came along graciously, And taught me the romantic art! From the snowy peaks of Kilimanjaro To the banks of Potomac river- My restless mind conjured delicacy And danced to shiver! The Christmas Eve in Barcelona Reminds me the jingle bells- While we were sipping whiskey, And you were telling the tales! Candle lights at a distance Were craving for winds to stop- And in your silhouette dress, You came to me hop, hop, hop! From that moment on, Our love grew by leaps and bounds- Regardless of gentle ageing, Our romance still meets the sounds! Slow dancing under sleepy willows Is alive and well even till today- ’Cause we’re on each others arms, No matter what the neighbors say! Rings that we exchanged with our vows Will glitter forever and ever- And I will relish the moments and tastes On being in your tongue, the lifesaver!! |
