Almost all of its Chief Ministers and King makers have been matinee idols or scenarists for movies. No doubt, these people have helped shape the future of the state and of Tamil Cinema. But then, there have been countless nameless faces that have made Kodambakkam their home, working as Spot boys or Gaffes' in the sets, cleaning up long after the stars have left for the luxury of their Air-conditioned rooms.
